My hair-care routine or glory be to Christophe Robin!

Hair is one of the first things you notice about people when meeting them for the first time. Beautiful and shiny - or at least - clean brushed hair - leaves a good impression, which is why hair-care is important. Your hair can transform your look!

I would like to share with you my tested and approved hair routine. And God knows what a complicated and snobbish creature I am when it comes to beauty and care.

While reading my post, please take into consideration that I have pretty fine hair with oily roots and dry ends. I have my hair regularly highlighted and therefore need to ensure my color stays vibrant for longer.

My first rule is to use appropriate shampoo designed for my hair type. After many years of product testing, I found my favorite one: Christophe Robin's Cleansing Mask with Lemon. The cult low poo was Christophe Robin's first product, created in 1997.

This shampoo is a 3-in-1 cleansing, nourishing and color protective care for colored, highlighted or sensitive hair. What I particularly love about the product is that it gently cleanses and nourishes the hair fiber.

Oh and the product is paraben, silicone, SLS and colorant free!

One thing to be aware of: you need to take your time when using the mask. Personally, I apply it on Sundays. To dry hair on the roots and then on the ends. I leave it on for 20 minutes, then gradually add more and more water while massaging my hair, until obtaining a light foam. I repeat this operation at least twice before rinsing abundantly. The process definitely requires patience, but believe me, the result is awesome.

When I do not have the necessary time, I use my other favorite hair product from Christophe Robin: the regenerating shampoo with prickly pear oil.

This product is a daily-use shampoo with regenerating and repairing properties. The texture is creamy and will foam very, very little. We generally do not believe our hair is being cleaned unless we see foam, but this is not true. In reality, shampoo does not have to make bubbles.

Once again, the formula does not contain any paraben, silicone, SLS and is colorant free.

These shampoos may be a little expensive, but your hair deserves the best right? Well, that's what I keep telling myself.

I hope I am not being too long. You know what I mean.

The truth is, I cannot let you go before having introduced Christophe Robin's shade variation care: a nutritive mask with temporary hair coloring. I use it in order to prevent my highlighted hair from becoming yellow over time. The wonderful thing is that it nourishes my hair while taking care of my color. Results last approximately 3-5 shampoos.

Last but not least, let me present my conditioner for highlighted hair.

I discovered this product a few weeks ago while looking for a detangling conditioner. I fell in love with the soft, milky texture melting into my hair and leaving them nourished in no time. I apply it on lengths and ends, leave it in for about 5 minutes then rinse.

This is not a sponsored post! I have tried many hair products from brands such as Leonor Greyl, Shu Uemura, Kiehl's, Aésop... but let me tell you, Christophe Robin is the best... for my fine highlighted hair.
